A new model year is upon us! Every year, Jayco works to improve all of our products and when the model year changes, we unveil all of the new and innovative features. We’re always excited to share what improvements and new ideas we’ve included for the new model year.

For 2014, we’ve taken aggressive steps to features that are important to families like yours. Here are a few of the many exciting things to look forward to in our 2014 lineup:

A Jayco-exclusive Denver Mattress. Looking for the secret to a good night’s sleep? Look no further. For 2014, Jayco has raised the bar in sleep comfort, partnering with Denver Mattress to bring you a Jayco-exclusive Euro-Top Sleep System (available in most Jayco units). This Denver Mattress actually “cradles” pressure points, which allows for sublime relaxation!

Heritage Mocha Amish-crafted cabinetry. We have updated the interiors of all of our towable products. They’re more modern and stylish than ever. A key change for 2014 was a switch to a new wood grain. Called Heritage Mocha, this wood grain gives Jayco’s towable products a more residential feel. We’re certain you’ll savor the warm hues and rich tones of our cabinetry.

An industry-first motorhome Ride and Handling package: This is a biggie. For our motorized products, the most important change we made for 2014 was developing our new JRide package. JRide equips select motorhomes with ride-enhancing components, like Hellwig helper springs, Bilstein shock absorbers and added stabilizer bars. At Jayco, we don’t just build motorhomes. We engineer the ultimate drivinge experience — a blend of precise handling and renowned stability. Hands down, it’s the best ride. You can learn more about the JRide by watching our video.

Finally, for the new 2014 model year, we’re unveiling some exciting new products.

For 2014, we introduced a Class A gas-powered motorhome  — the all-new Precept. Built on a Ford F53 chassis with the new JRide package, Precept is equipped with more standard upgrades than any other Class A in its price range.

For the new model year, we also unveiled the brand-new Eagle Touring Edition, a value-priced fifth wheel available in five floorplans. Ranging in lengths from 28 to 31 feet, this Touring Edition has tons of storage and beautiful, aerodynamic exterior (think good looking + better gas mileage!).

Last but not least, we added a new Jay Feather series, the 2014 Jay Feather SLX, to Jayco’s lightweight lineup. We also unveiled the feature-filled Summit Package in our 2014 White Hawk deep-slide models.
In short, we invite you to visit your local Jayco dealer to see all of the exciting features and new products we’ve put together for 2014.

I would like to see the front living room floor plan in the Eagle Premier.. Any plans on that in the next year or two ?

    • Not that we’re aware of right now but we’ll pass your comment along! Thanks for the input!

I like the looks of the 2014 Eagles. What is the actual length (ball to back bumper) of the Eagle 338RLTS. I see it listed as 33 foot and 39 foot on various web sites. With a number like 338… I assume the living area might be 33 feet?

We are interested in trading our current fifth wheel with a new 2014 model? When will we be able to find and look at the new 2014 floor plans and specs for the Jayco Fifth Wheels? Also, will you be including interior finish choices as well?

    • Hi Diane. We’re working on getting our website updated for MY14. We’re finishing pictures of exteriors and interiors as well as wrapping up the last details. We should have it completed by late summer/early fall. However, in the meantime, your local Jayco dealer (found by using our dealer locator if you’re unsure of who that is http://www.jayco.com/pages/dealer-locator/) has all of the MY14 information.

We took delivery of our Eagle Premier 2014 at the end of June. We are loving it! There are a few things that we were sorry to loose from our 2003 Designer, but we are adjusting to them.
However, I wish there was a platform for us to relate items like this to your design team.
One thing in particular is the pedestal table. It does not allow “leg room”. Husband and I like to sit on the same side facing the TV when we eat. The chairs do not have enough room to pull out and I have to scoot and climb in to my seat. There are several other interesting discoveries we have made during our first 30+ days of ownership.

    • Hi Velda. Thanks for your note! We’re glad you’re enjoying your Eagle Premier! And we appreciate the comments, which we have passed along to our Product Development team for future consideration. Thanks again!
