A Note From Jayco’s President

At the beginning of each New Year, I always enjoy taking some time to reflect on the past year at Jayco and look ahead to the future.

The close of 2011 marked the 43rd year of business for Jayco and I can thankfully and confidently say it was another steady growth year for us compared to where we were during the depths of the recession in 2009. I strongly believe our commitment to the values we were built on is what brought us out of the recession and why we see continued growth today.

As we move into 2012, industry experts are predicting a slight up tick in shipments to dealers. However, I expect we will out perform this forecast; it should be another good year for Jayco. I believe this growth will come from a strengthening economy as well as our continued focus on new and innovative products to be introduced during the year. This innovative product development combined with our commitment to our core values and the loyalty of our dedicated employees, allows us to do things that other companies can’t or won’t do.  Like longer warranties.  Extensive quality testing.  Better components.  And much more.

We have pledged to continue to aggressively seek out new technologies and advanced materials in an effort to provide industry leading products that have come to be expected over the 44 year history of Jayco. We will remain a private, family owned company where our focus can be on the customer and not on the whims of a Wall Street investment firm.

I’m excited for 2012 and what it will be for Jayco but most important for the upcoming season, we wish all those members of the Jayco family who own one of our products a great camping year.

I wish my husband and I could be as excited as you..our less than a year old, 2011 Jayco lite fifth wheel, has been at the dealership since Dec. 8th, 2011 waiting to get the living room/dining room slide fixed. We are suppose to be in South Carolina finalizing the wedding of our daughter, instead we are waiting!!

I purchased a 2012 Jayco. At the time of the demonstration – I noticed the dining table was very wobbly and this has been acknowledged by both Jayco and the dealership. However, no one wants to correct this issue, except at my expense. Obviously there was a design flaw with the original configuration of this table leg by virtue of the fact that you have redesigned it to minimize the wobble. I am not happy with this and not willing to let this go and still waiting for resolution. Thank you.

Hi Carol. We’re sorry for any inconveniences, but we cannot help with Customer Service issues on the blog. Please contact your local Jayco dealer and/or Jayco’s Customer Service department at 800-283-8267 to resolve this. We’ve also passed along your comment to our Customer Service representatives so they are aware of the situation.

Since I have received no help or cooperation from customer service on this issue – where do you suggest I turn to now? since Jayco is not willing to help?
