Jayco’s story begins in a place where fireflies are as plentiful as open fields and where Amish buggies rattle down country backroads. It’s here, in the heart of Indiana, where Lloyd Bontrager created an innovative lifter system that led to a better fold-down camper. Loaded with more conveniences, he believed his camper would bring families closer together.

Forty-five years later, we’re still committed to that same passion, and to ensure we never lose sight of that, we recently created a brand promise to help reinforce that mission — Generations of Family Fun. We believe, at the core, this tagline conveys our desire to help families create lifelong memories — the cornerstone of our 45-year-old company.

We invite you to learn more about the Jayco promise. You can visit GenerationsOfFamilyFun.com to watch our new brand video, explore fun product features, discover a historical timeline and join in on some social media fun. In addition, we’re launching a five-week Facebook contest to find the oldest Jayco RVs still hard at work today. If you spot a classic and post a photo of it, you could be the lucky winner of a $100 Visa gift card. During the final week of the contest, we up the ante with a $500 gift card. So make sure you watch our Facebook feed for all the fun giveaway details.

I am in the market to buy a bungalow. I saw a 2013 with Driftwood interior and wanted that in 2014. I am disappointed Jayco doesn’t offer that in 2014. I don’t like the off white kitchen countertop in the 2014. It looks like it belongs in a bathroom not a kitchen. Last year’s countertop was much nicer. Can you get the 2013 countertop in a 2014 model?

    • Hi Wendy. No, that isn’t an option unfortunately. However, our model year 2015 will be coming out in a few months. Maybe you’ll see something there you like better.
