Planning a trip around or through our neck of the woods? Take some time to stop and get to know Jayco better at our very own Visitors Center. We have a renovated 1880’s farmhouse located adjacent to our general offices in Middlebury, Indiana. The Visitors Center is full of historical Jayco photos and memorabilia. We also have Jayco apparel and merchandise for purchase and a display of new products for you to walk through.
In addition, Monday through Thursday at noon, our Visitors Center offers a free tour of our towable manufacturing facilities. If you take advantage of this tour, you’ll see how some of our RV models are made in the various stages. The tour kicks off with a video that highlights the company’s history. Once the video is over, you’ll board the Jayco Trolley along with one of our friendly staff members, and head to Plant 8, where you’ll see our sewing, furniture and tent departments. The next stop is Plant 15, where you’ll observe the construction of Pinnacle or Eagle fifth wheels. The tour only takes one hour and 30 minutes. It’s definitely worth the time.
If you are interested in the tour, we advise you to call 574-825-5861 ahead of time to get the most current tour information. There also is a limited number of spots on the tour, so if you want to ensure you’ll be able to go on the tour the day you’re visiting, we advise that you call ahead to reserve your spot.
