Exterior Front AngleJayco Inc. started out as a small operation in rural northern Indiana and has grown into one of the most respected names in the Recreational Vehicle industry today. It is hard to imagine such humble beginnings for such a company that now employs around 2,000 people who produce units that can be seen all over North America. It is quite the sight, to be sure. The RV’s of today are more advanced than their predecessors and seeing them all come together is truly amazing. Made and assembled by hand, the workers are proud of their craft and produce quality RV’s for your life’s adventures. This is why Jayco is pleased to offer tours of two of our factories so that we can share the experience of the building process first hand.

The tour originates from the Jayco Visitors Center, an 1880s farmhouse that was remodeled in 1995 and now houses Jayco memorabilia, “wearables” and gifts. The tour kicks off with a video that highlights the company’s history. Guests then board the Jayco Trolley and head to Plant 8, which consists of our sewing, furniture, and tent departments. The next stop is Plant 15, where you can observe the construction of Pinnacle, Seismic or Eagle Premier fifth wheels. The trolley then returns to the Visitors Center, where you are welcome to take a look at the newest models that are on display in the Visitors Center’s back yard.

Currently the Visitors Center is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and we offer one tour a day, Monday through Thursday at noon. We are closed on weekends and holidays.  We are located at the junction of U.S. Highway 20 and State Road 13. The Visitors Center is directly across the parking lot from the main office.

If you are using a GPS in order to get to our location, our address is 58075 State Road 13, Middlebury, IN 46540.

We look forward to seeing you and your family soon!
