At Jayco, 2013 marks a big year for us. It’s our 45-year anniversary! To celebrate this milestone, we want to share the Jayco family story. It’s our story, and it’s your story.

From our factory to our front office, from our salespeople to our suppliers, from new customers to old ones, these are the people who shape the Jayco family. Together, we’re helping make new family stories every day — stories built around campfires, made on the road, created in RVs.

In spirit of 45 years, we’re launching a Facebook campaign that celebrates Memories that Matter. We’re kicking off our celebration with three inspiring Jayco family stories and, we encourage you to share your stories with us. In the meantime, meet the Beasleys, the Thompsons and the Browns.

The Beasleys

The Beasleys have a family motto. Life is great in a 31 by 8. The mantra doesn’t make much sense — unless you see a picture of the place the family calls home. The Beasleys have spent a year living in a 2000 Eagle — a 31-foot Jayco fifth wheel they park in the driveway of their 3,000 sq. ft. home.

 The Thompsons

Jessica, Jacqueline and Carson slumped on the camper couch. They were given strict instructions. Don’t get dirty. Not so easy when you’re a kiddo at a campground. (But this was no ordinary camping trip.) This was Lea Ann and Kevin Thompson’s wedding day.

 The Browns

Chris Brown, a member of the Mississippi House of Representatives, couldn’t stay away from his Jayco fifth wheel during his first legislative session — a five-month stint at the state capital. So what did he do? He packed up his Jayco Eagle, his loving wife and his five kids and took them with him.

Click here to read each full story, and while you’re there, make sure to “Like” it. You never know who you might inspire to take up camping. And while you’re at it, share a memory. We love hearing your stories. Family stories are what drive us. (They have for the last 45 years.)

Thanks for being part of the Jayco family.
