Popular Eagle Line up Gets a Face Lift for 2012

Combining easier towability with all of the comfort found in its popular Eagle travel trailer and fifth wheel products, Jayco® has updated its Eagle Super Lite offerings for the 2012 model year. Changes to this popular line up of travel trailers and fifth wheels are aimed at giving the products a fresh look and increasing the convenience levels for the customer.

The 2012 Eagle Super Lite line up includes travel trailers, fifth wheels, and the Eagle SL HT, a fifth wheel that can be towed by most half-ton pick up trucks. All three series in this product line feature many of the same amenities and finishing touches as their larger Eagle counterparts, but with less weight for easier towing by smaller vehicles. Standard equipment includes Tuffshell™ vacuum-bonded laminated sidewalls and lockable radius-cornered baggage doors with heavy-duty handles. Finishing touches such as nickel hardware, 32” LCD HDTV in the living area and Concord Cherry raised-panel doors and drawers throughout make the Eagle Super Lites a welcome retreat.

New for 2012, the Eagle Super Lites have an increased main entry door height from 68 inches to 72 inches providing more headroom. And Jayco has added a keyless lock system that decreases the chance for lost keys and adds a sense of security for the customer.

In addition, the Eagle Super Lite models have a variety of options including a hide-a-bed with air mattress, water purification system, 15,000-BTU central A/C, aluminum rims, satellite kit, extendable dinette, free-standing table with chairs, and a unique exterior kitchen and grill tucked into the outside wall of the trailer.

Since its introduction in late 2012, the Eagle SL HT has gained in popularity. Designed to be towed by today’s half-ton trucks, the Eagle SL HT still boasts more convenient amenities and features in its price level. Standard amenities for the Eagle SL HT include a full-body grey fiberglass exterior, suite-style closet slideout in bedroom, dual pots and pans drawer, 60/40 deep bowl kitchen sinks and 26-inch LCD HDTV with 180-degree viewing angle. In addition, the Eagle SL HT features Concord Cherry cabinetry, pleated night shades, residential furniture designed and made by Jayco, and ball bearing drawer guides throughout with a 50-pound capacity and full-drawer extension.

All the Eagle Super Lites are built with the same Amish craftsmanship and quality construction that has made Jayco travel trailers America’s most liveable RVs. Standard construction features include an aerodynamic gel-coat front cap, Dexter Nev-R-Adjust brakes, aluminum rims, TuffShell vacuum-bonded laminated floor, sidewalls and slide rooms, an I-Class structural I-beam chassis frame, and reflective foil insulation in slideout room and floor.

The Eagle Super Lite Customer Value Package features a water heater bypass system, quilted bedspread, electric patio awning, skylight in the tub/shower, 30-lb propane bottles, oversized 21-inch oven, 13,500-BTU A/C with wall thermostat and louvered directional ceiling vents, 6-gallon gas/electric DSI auto-ignition water heater, and a Multi-Media Sound System™ AM/FM/CD stereo with MP3 input jack.

Built with top-quality materials and production techniques, Jayco provides customers with reliable resale values and peace of mind. The industry-leading Co-Pilot Warranty offers the original purchaser a 2-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. In addition, all Jayco products have been Green Certified by TRA Certification, Inc, an independent third party certification agency. The Eagle Super Lites TT, FW and HTFW earned a Gold-level Certification through the use of sustainable materials, environmentally-friendly production methods, energy-efficient components and reduction of waste.
